Being Teacher
To be a teacher requires education and experience.
To be a great teacher requires education, experience insight and intuition.

At University Child Development Center we believe not only in what we have learned, but what we have observed, what we understand, and what we perceive in each child.

Using this intuitive approach gives us the ability to see inside each child; helping them to develop their strengths,  creating positive, lifelong, healthy self- esteem. While the trend is to use one theory or approach to reach all children, we will use all approaches and theories to reach each child. We understand, have studied and practiced many of the child development theories including:

  • Montessori
  • Reggio Emelia
  • Developmental
  • Emergent (Play Based)
  • Academic

Best Practices
From this we have developed a curriculum based on the best and most effective practices of each of these approaches.
Our experience and education, together with insight, intuition, warmth and love, is the combination that sets us apart from the rest.

Check out our “What Parents are saying” link, and then make an appointment to see for yourself.
